Hot off the heels of our first set of datamined Legion info, we've got more news from the Legion beta files.

Last week was pretty exciting for Hunters.

Rossi's been going over some of the new lore regarding the Artifact weapon reveals for Legion, and I'm going to jump into the fray as well, because there is a lot of material hidden among all those little introductory paragraphs we got for our new weapons.

Yeah, beta build. Datamining. Tons of neat stuff. It’s all crazy awesome, and I’m digging through it just like y’all. But please, please, don’t get too excited, or upset, about anything you discover. Datamining is awesome but it’s also not in context, stuff gets left in that’s never meant to go live, old versions of new content. Just keep a bowl of salt next to your monitor for a while, okay? Expect nothing until it’s announced. It’s just easier that way.

Anyway, here’s the Queue. Let’s talk. There are some spoilery things here because that’s what happens when you talk about datamining. I understand if you’re trying to avoid those, so be warned.

Though Legion's beta isn't playable yet, the client hit Blizzard's CDN (that's a content delivery network, for those of you who aren't familiar with the term) last night, which means dataminers have been in a frenzy ever since.

With the announcement of Gnome Hunters coming in Legion, many players began to hope their personal favorite might make it into the game.

When talking about the Artifact weapons of Legion and the lore that's being revealed for them, Paladin Artifacts are some of the most interesting, touching upon the origin of the Order of the Silver Hand and the fate of Watcher Tyr, the missing Watcher from Ulduar.
