Overwatch 2

Overwatch 2 will officially start its beta test on April 26 — at least for the PVP portion of the game.

The Overwatch team and game director Aaron Keller announced today that Overwatch 2 is moving into the testing phase, with the PVP modes being tested first and the PVE mode will come later.

They probably won't be here anytime soon — we know for a fact that some of Blizzard's biggest titles that are still in development, like Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2, won't be released in 2022.

Both Overwatch 2 and Diablo 4 are likely going to be out sometime in 2023.

At BlizzCon 2019, the Overwatch 2 cinematic blew the roof off the place.

The public revelation about toxicity and harassment in Blizzard's work culture continues to have cascading consequences for all areas of Activision-Blizzard's operation.

There was no BlizzCon in 2020 due to the pandemic, but BlizzConline earlier this year was a sort of replacement for it.

Big changes are coming to the way tanks work in Overwatch 2.

Jeff Kaplan, the game director for Overwatch and its forthcoming sequel, has left Blizzard Entertainment.
