Dreamsurges are a public event in the Dragon Isles that went live alongside other content in World of Warcraft Dragonflight patch 10.1.7 that previously were a catch-up opportunity for players to earn ilvl 402 gear as well as ilvl 415 gear.

Blizzard recently announced the next phase of Dragonflight's story with patch 10.2, the Guardians of the Dream, and we learned that the main stage for this upcoming patch is the Emerald Dream, a realm created by the Titans that represents what Azeroth would look like without any outside influence.

Dragonflight patch 10.1.7 is now live, and it brought new, anticipated content like Heritage Armor quests, Holiday event updates, and even a ping system!

Dragonflight patch 10.2 is all set to arrive on the PTR, with an "In Development" article scheduled for Thursday that should reveal some of the features and fun details of what could be the final major patch of the expansion.

Dragonflight patch 10.1.7 continues Blizzard's rapid patch roll-out schedule with another major content update that continues the Dragonflight story with lots of new quests, a new world event, new heritage armor and customization, new Dragonriding races, and holiday updates for Hallow's End and other fall events.

The upcoming event Secrets of Azeroth event starting August 31 has so many tones of globe hopping and clues for players to decipher as we unravel the mystery of who is committing a series of thefts, it feels like they missed a step by not calling it "Where in the World of Warcraft is Carmen Sandiego." All they really need to add is a kicking a capella theme song.

Dragonflight patch 10.1.5 didn't unlock flight in the old world (yet), but players can get a taste of Dragonriding on one of the original continents of World of Warcraft in the Kalimdor Cup, a series of Dragonriding races that take place across the continent.

When Dragonflight patch 10.1.7 releases on September 5, it will have a few new quality-of-life and accessibility features, most notably a new ping system for players to use in all levels of content.

Update: Patch 10.1.7 is now live!

In a surprise move Thursday, Blizzard announced Dragonflight patch 10.1.7 will be called Fury Incarnate and released an updated roadmap of things included with the patch and the intent to roll the PTR out that same day.
