Last year, Overwatch got a limited form of cross-play, which let you play the game with friends on other platforms (with a host of limitations) — but now the game's cross-platform features are getting a boost with cross-progression.

Right now, if you play Overwatch on the Switch, or Xbox, or PlayStation, you can only play with other people playing on that console, not with people on other consoles or the PC.

The hopes of an Overwatch character making their appearance in Super Smash Bros.

I don't expect we will, mind you, but I do keep wondering.

This is a question people are often asking, especially now that Diablo 3 is playable on so many platforms — Windows and Mac, Playstation 3 and 4, Xbox 360 and One, and the Nintendo Switch as well.

When I was a kid, there were three Nintendo 64 games I repeatedly rented from Blockbuster: Diddy Kong Racing, Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, and Yoshi's Story.

With BlizzCon coming up, I have two very contrary ideas in mind.

Diablo 3 for the Nintendo Switch won't be out until later this year, but the game is playable at Gamescom right now -- and it looks great!

The third round of BlizzCon tickets have been sold out -- but November is just a few short months away.
