Transmog
What would make the Trial of Style better?
It feels like it was only yesterday the Trial of Style took the World (of Warcraft) by storm, and yet, it's already time to say goodbye.
Have you been collecting tier sets?
I may be just a little obsessive about transmog -- no, let's face it, I'm really obsessive about transmog.
🔒 How transmog saved the World of Warcraft
Transmog has kept me playing WoW even while I'm having personal reasons to play less. I can't make a raid schedule reliably anymore, I neither have the time nor the ability. But I can transmog whenever I want, however I want. And that kind of flexibility is something that the game has always desperately needed.
Do you obsessively need to finish collections?
I just downloaded Collection Shop and I'm already down 20k gold.
The Queue: Sartorial Exuberance
I never noticed how crazy Blood Elf eyebrows were before.
What would get you to do that thing you hate?
It's no secret that I don't like PvP in WoW and I haven't since the Burning Crusade days.
What’s your weirdest reason to come back?
Okay, I'll just admit it.
The Queue: Polearms
One of the things I don’t like about playing a Night Elf Warrior is how they hold 2h weapons. They tend to hold axes, swords and maces up in front of themselves in a somewhat awkward grip that obscures the face. It’s really bad on a lady Night Elf.
But they don’t do this with polearms.
I’m always going to love Ashkandi best, but I’m indulging in the polearm animations on my Warrior right now, especially since I have a whole host of polearm skins I rarely get to use. The Ulduar ones in particular (the one pictured is Lotrafen if you’re curious) really go well with my current look.
Let’s talk about stuff.
What would you like added to the transmogrification system?
We're getting sets in patch 7.2, which is pretty great.
Should there be more transmog items for sale?
One of the less well-loved options in the Battle.net shop are the transmoggable helm appearances.
