The Queue: He’s got souls but he’s not a soldier
I hope you find my stupid joke as funny as I do. I also hope that I’ve gotten that song stuck in your head for at least a little bit.
Listen to it while we Queue!
The Queue: Feel I was running an endless mile
I still love this song. And since Anna decided it was earworm time on the Queue, I might as well try and give mine to you.
Hi. I’m Matt. I’m doing the Queue today. What are you all doing?
The Queue: Red, the blood of angry men
Thanks to y’all I’ve had this song stuck in my head all day so now you also have to suffer through The Queue. This is that Queue, where we answer any burning questions you may have, whether or not they’re related to Blizzard games. More Blizzard games are better, but hey we all have to go off book sometimes, right?
The Queue: Am I blue
Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!
I think one of the nicest parts of having Classic around and the old world back again is the restoration of zones that were thoroughly altered in Cataclysm. Take Azshara for example — I loved the place in vanilla. Sure, there wasn’t a lot to do there, but the scenery was absolutely gorgeous. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate the Goblin themed zone as it stands now and I do love that it’s been filled with quests…but sometimes I just miss the days when it was a relatively quiet place to skulk around and try not to get ganked by rampaging dragonkin, you know? Let’s get to your questions.
The Queue: Forced stealth and subjective opinion
People have this real tendency to assume that they way they feel about something is universal. Suramar is just one example. I see it held forth as this masterpiece, and I’m glad you enjoyed it, but no, it wasn’t universally beloved and Blizzard knows this. They can’t just keep doing zones like Suramar or people will quit the game. They have a very difficult task of always trying to deliver new experiences — sometimes those experiences can draw upon previous ones, but they can’t just be those again.
Especially Suramar. Some of us really hated it. I honestly, gleefully moved to the Broken Shore because there I could just kill things.
That doesn’t make you wrong for liking it, but it doesn’t mean I’m wrong for not enjoying it. I’d be fine with them making Suramar style content again, as long as it was something I could skip entirely. I very deliberately avoid stealth in WoW. Making me engage in it made me blisteringly angry.
The Queue: I’ve got the bow, all I need is 10 gold for the arrows
Loads of MitchCoin to anyone who understands my title.
It’s time to Queue.
The Queue: I’m not trying to be negative
Whenever I write up Hearthstone Brawls, I get told that I’m too negative. (But can I really be at fault when so many Brawls are all frustrating RNG?) So today I’m turning my critical eye on WoW.
You’re welcome, everyone who dislikes my Hearthstone articles.
The Queue: Elf With Braids
I’m all about the elf-with-braids trend from yesterday’s Queue. In fact my Hunter is more than happy to show off… oh, who am I kidding. We all know the star of the show is Rutherford Bear Hayes.
This is The Queue, where you give us Qs and we supply the As.
The Queue: Cosmo-tology
Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!
Is it just me, or does anyone else sometimes find themselves getting “cosmology” mixed up with “cosmetology,” even though the two are very, very different things? Unrelated (but very much related), I wonder what a World of Warcraft eyeshadow palette would look like. I’d want to see at least one blue shade with some kind of punched up silver glitter effect just to reflect Algalon and the Titans, you know? Maybe some earth tones — obviously a red for Horde, a Blue for Alliance, maybe a green for the Emerald Dream. Heck, you could have two different faction palettes and a cosmos palette.
…anyone want to get Colorpop in on this? Anyone? No? Just me? Okay, let’s get to your questions instead.
The Queue: Tomorrow is my birthday
My birthday is December 7th.
There’s lots of stuff going on in my life right now, I won’t bring it up, but it really brought home to me how fleeting life can be and how you never know what’s going to happen. Treasure the experiences you get, the people you love, the experiences that make your life what it is.
This is the Queue. Let’s get to those questions.
