The Queue: Let’s have a wedding

I don’t want to spoil anything, but holy crow, Drustvar is an incredible zone. It’s everything I want out of a “spooky” zone, and it’s awesome enough that I will actually encourage you to have a max-level Alliance character just so you can experience… or, if you happen to get alpha/beta at any point, just make a pre-made character and go through it that way.

Anyhow, it’s Queue time. Let’s see what questions we have today!

The Queue: Battlecruiser operational

No, actually my Battlecruiser is not operational because I didn’t get a Battlecruiser. The Battlecruiser is off having adventures in Sanctuary or … uh … wherever the heck StarCraft is set these days … and I am in Azeroth wishing I had a Battlecruiser. Like every other sensible person in this world.

Unfortunately, we don’t always get what we want.

The Queue: It’s better to build than destroy

Hey. Welcome to the Queue.

Please try and always be kind to one another. We all have negative impulses and emotions. We all get angry or sad or afraid, and we lash out because of pain or fear or rage. Sometimes that’s unavoidable. I’m not telling you to never feel those emotions. They’re part of life, and you will encounter them.

But please, when playing a game, especially a social game like World of Warcraft, try and be kind. Try and be helpful. Especially when you’re in a guild, try and treat your guildmates as well as you possibly can. Treat them how you’d like to be treated, always.

Let’s do some questions.

The Queue: Lying

Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!

You know, I had every intention of not bothering to choose between Scryer or Aldor while leveling my Nightborne in Outland. Partially because it didn’t really matter in the long run, but mostly because I was avoiding the Dreaded Tour of Shattrath. But it turns out there are quests in Netherstorm that don’t unlock unless you’ve chosen a side — and you don’t get the completion achievement for the zone unless you complete those.

So I swallowed my pride, queued up a show on Netflix and prepared to be really bored for a lengthy period of time while I followed Khadgar’s favorite ethereal marshmallow on its crawling parade around the city. It says it won’t take long. It is lying. It takes long.

If I got more experience out of the…experience, I’d be happier about it. You know what doesn’t take long? Answering your questions. Let’s get to that.

The Queue: I saw the sign

Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!

I think part of what I’m enjoying the most about Battle for Azeroth so far is just the variety in poses and animation. Like this gnome here, who is holding a very important sign involving something I won’t be spoiling. But he looks really important and official, doesn’t he? And I really want to know where he got those glasses, and where I can get a pair. Look, it shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone by now that as far as I’m concerned, anything transmog-worthy is of immediate interest.

You know what else is interesting? Your questions. Let’s answer some of those.
