The Queue: Baby Viewin’ Day

Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!

So is carting babies out to the town square and givin’ ’em a good look just a normal part of Kaldorei society? I mean, does this happen with every kid? If Tyrande and Malfurion ever actually produced an offspring, would they prop it up mid-Darnassus somewhere so people could just take a solid gander at the thing? Or are births so few and far between that the Night Elves feel it necessary to put them on display just to, you know, remind people what babies look like?

Okay that last thought is a little sad, in hindsight. Let’s answer your questions instead.

The Queue: Who tells your story?

Let me tell you what I wish I’d known when I was young and dreamed of glory: you have no control, who lives, who dies, who tells your story.

That’s true in musicals and in Warcraft, I’m afraid. In our case, it’s mostly Blizzard telling our stories… but that doesn’t mean we can’t come up with our own stories, too.

The Queue: We meet again, Brewfest

Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!

There was a point where I used to really enjoy Brewfest. I’m not sure where that changed exactly — somewhere in the many years of the holiday being available, my interest waned. By the time the holiday rolled around, I already had gear better than what I could get from Direbrew. I had all the various fun drops. Last year I skipped the event entirely — I think I ran Direbrew on one lone alt that needed a gear boost. But then I realized the event has since had toys added to it, toys that I totally missed in last year’s lackluster run.

So I’m here again, in the chilly hills of Dun Morogh — or on some characters, the heated sands of Durotar — and I am ready to race rams again. So many rams.

You know what, let’s answer your questions instead, okay? For now.

The Queue: A puppy for you

Was someone talking about puppy pictures? Yes? No? Either way, it doesn’t matter, because I am breaking out the big guns of puppy pictures with the above pair of six-week-old basset hound puppies. Just try to top that, because you can’t. It just not possible.

But, really, give it a try because everyone loves puppy pictures.
