The Queue: Plant life

I’m not sure who they’ve got over at Blizzard working on plant models — but whoever they are, they managed to one-up the gorgeousness of Draenor’s plant life from last expansion. I didn’t think that was possible. We’ve come a very, very long way from the trees of vanilla — anyone remember those? They were just a series of flat panes that looked really, really fake when you got up close. I don’t know where we’re going next expansion, but I’m hoping wherever it is, it’s got a lot of plants.

Without fail, every time I head to Suramar for a quest I invariably get lost in taking screenshots of all the little details scattered throughout the city. I’m going to be really, really sad when we inevitably have to say goodbye to this place at the end of the expansion.
The Queue: Because I watch a lot of AMV/GMV’s on YouTube
Pidia asked why I quote Fall Out Boy in Queue titles and suchlike.
I watch a ton of AMV/GMV on YouTube and Fall Out Boy comes up a lot. That’s pretty much it. Not everything I do is a super obscure, meaningful gesture. I save that for my novels.
Sometimes I’m just listening to music because I like how it sounds or I saw it in a video. That’s how I discovered Fall Out Boy — they did a song I liked for the movie Big Hero 6.
I also liked Big Hero 6, by the way.
Anyway, here’s the Queue. If you’re curious, I’m listening to Ressurect by Kings and Creatures right now.
The Queue: One Maniac at a Time
So dance alone to the beat of your heart.
This is The Queue. My DK is all dressed up. I got my eye injections this Tuesday and now my eyes itch and I can’t scratch them and it’s maddening but hopefully the shots will keep me from going blind for a while yet. That’s why I keep getting them.
Let’s chat about stuff.
The Queue: Real Fake Doors
If you’re wondering who spent way too much time on a completely unrelated, mediocre-looking gag that most people probably won’t get, I’ll give you a hint: It’s the person who is not Alex and also who’s writing today’s Queue. You get two guesses.
And with that seg-out-of-the-ue, let’s get to questions!
The Queue: Losing track of time
An illusion? What are you hiding?!
Hiding something? Me? No way. I’m just an average everyday Queue writer, exactly where I should be. Why would you think otherwise?
The Queue: I am not Alex
Hey, hi, hello. Last week, Liz may or may not have murdered me and left me a ghost to haunt the spooky wilds of Blizzard Mitch Watch. In my spooky search for revenge, I may or may not have haunted Alex and scared him away from the site. Because of these strange and spooky events, I am now Alex for the week.
Let’s answer some questions of varying spookicity.

Charlie’s seen some better days. They were the good old days, when his kidney wasn’t hanging out in a treasure box, but in his body where it belonged.
…exactly how you get Artifact Power out of a kidney, I don’t know, but I think I’m better off not knowing. Let’s get to your questions!
The Queue: Don’t mention it

While hunting down a treasure in Highmountain, I happened upon this perfectly respectable group of Tauren engaging in a rousing bout of fisticuffs. There most certainly were no shenanigans to be found, just good, clean fun. You know what else is fun? Answering your questions — let’s just get to that part.
