While traversing through Legion‘s newest dungeon on this week’s leveling stream, Mitch pointed out that you could see part of the Tomb of Sargeras raid far, far below. I like it when dungeons and raids intersect on different levels like this — I honestly can’t recall the last time we saw it happen. The first instance I can recall is when you could see Magtheridon through the floor of the Blood Furnace in Burning Crusade. It made the dungeon feel absolutely gigantic, it gave players who paid attention to the scenery a sneak peek at future content while they were leveling — and it also just felt really, really cool.

I was delighted but also a little mystified when we stumbled into the Hanging Gardens in the Cathedral of Eternal Night. Gardens were definitely not something I was expecting when we wandered into the zone. I mean sure, the place appeared to have been connected to Suramar at one point in time, but from what I was aware, this section of the Broken Isles was the one that Gul’dan lifted from the seas of Azeroth.

Were the gardens underwater all this time? Did the Nightborne start tending to the place at some point after Gul’dan raised it from the depths of the ocean? I don’t know if we’ll ever get an answer to that one — but I appreciated the unexpected burst of pretty scenery in the middle of all the fel green.

The Queue: Bracers are the bane of my existence

So, I have a bunch of armor sets on the dummies in my Order Hall, but many of them aren’t complete in the Wardrobe. I was baffled by this until I went and looked at them and found out that while the dummies don’t seem to care, the Wardrobe demands bracers in many cases.

I have to go farm like thirty bracers now.

This is not making me at all happy.

Here’s the Queue. Let’s talk Blizzard.

Why does Medivh have a mini-planetarium in his innermost sanctum? Was it something he knew about, or was this a secret Sargeras hideout for spying on the stars and figuring out which world to next destroy? And while I recognize a couple of those planets, there are many, many more that aren’t familiar at all. What are they? I guess we’ll never know will we — but hey, I can answer your questions and at least provide some answers today.

You know, when I first heard there was an upside-down Karazhan way back in the day, I always assumed it was just a portion of the tower that went underground. I never even considered the idea that it would simply occupy space on the original tower’s ceilings. Needless to say, I like the ceiling Karazhan much better than the idea of a subterranean tower.
