The Queue

I heard these were trending on Twitter, so I’m jumping on the bandwagon.

This is The Queue, where you ask us questions and we would answer, but we’re about to let it ride.

I honestly forgot what I was going to say here because while I was procrastinating writing the Queue, I actually finally got the Blackhand Mythic mount!

I’ve been farming that once a week on my Druid for a long, long, long time. It took until its 170th kill for it to drop. There are about another 100 attempts scattered across my other characters, but the Druid was the only consistent one that I was running Blackhand on. Especially since I had it down to a quick post-raid routine. Take my garrison portal, use the mole machine to go to Gorgrond, fly up to the boundary, and kill Blackhand — five minutes, easy peasy. Now I don’t even have to think about it anymore! I’m free!

While I figure out what’s next on the old mount list to hunt for, it’s time for — The Queue.

I admit, I don’t trust the light with everything. (It didn’t do Tirion much good in the end, after all.) But it is pleasantly glowy, and sometimes that’s all you need.

It’s officially September, which means I have the honor of writing The Queue on the perfect day for a meme/triple earworm combo. Will you wake me up inside? Before you go-go? Or when September ends? That’s my Q4TQ today — now it’s time for yours.

Let’s go!

So yeah, three guesses what my WRUP answer is going to be this week and two don’t count.

As the kids go back to school and I have Pumpkin Spice Lattes to give me a little extra motivation, I’ve been putting a lot of effort into sorting out my real life. I have a tendency to create doom boxes to get all this junk out of my face and then forget about them, so the beginning of the school year is a great time to try and sort all that out into a clean slate. No, don’t look at the number of Chrome tabs I have open or my bank. This is fine.

This is The Queue, where you ask us questions and we swear we saw the answer around here a second ago. We’ll find it. Probably.

I think my favorite thing about Fated raids is that we’ve gotten to see Rendle in Castle Nathria again. I love this lil guy. Just so eager to please and fix our gear for us!

I also love that I think his pile of gold has gotten bigger since the last time we were in Nathria. That’s one of the little things that has made World of Warcraft so great over the years, little touches like that.

While I give him a little more gold after yet another Sun King’s Salvation wipe, it’s time for — The Queue.

And, apparently, somehow, it is also Friday right here. Whoa. So let’s break out the beach umbrella and get to enjoying the soon-to-be weekend.

Also, let’s Queue.

This weekend is one of those weekends I’ve been looking forward to for so long that it’s hard to believe it’s actually here. I speak, of course, of the return of Splatfests! As I’m sure I’ve mentioned at least once here, this is a brand-new Splatfest format, now featuring THREE sides instead of two (and a slightly different match-up format as a result).

I have no idea how it’ll go, but I’m excited all the same. Also, I’m leaning heavily toward #TeamRock because of Big Man, but I also really like Shiver’s (#TeamPaper) style.

Anyhow, while I think on that, we have a Queue to get to.

They meant it as a joke and it’s probably their most popular song. In my opinion at least, it’s absolutely their best song.

It’s the Queue! I’m using exclamation points to feign excitement! In reality my entire body hurts! Getting old sucks! Let’s Queue this!
