The day after BlizzCon… or two days after BlizzCon? Or is it still BlizzCon? I can’t really remember. Time doesn’t mean anything right now, just a whole lotta’ news to digest.

I'm going to get meta for a few minutes here, and get up on my soap box. But first, let me get the TLDR out of the way: Blizzard Watch closed its Slack workspace last night and has moved to using Discord for work, starting immediately. That means you'll see us in there all the time, working, chatting, complaining, theorizing over our latest TV obsession, everything. And if you're a Patreon supporter of any level, you'll have a super visible way to ask your questions and get more value out of your contributions to the site. 

Whether you watched it on the Virtual Ticket or were there in person, this year's BlizzCon had a lot of surprises for everyone.

Two five-man instances from Battle for Azeroth were available on the show floor.

In addition to new information from all our favorite games, there were also some amazing esports events at BlizzCon 2017.

BlizzCon 2017's Behind Blizzard's Worlds panel focused just as much on the company's failures as it did on the company's successes -- and, perhaps, how the successes were only possible as a result of those failures.
