This week’s column was suggested by BeckieSueDalton who asked for a guide to trying out a new spec. I think this is a fantastic idea and it can apply to many mages; veterans, alts and new casters alike.

When it comes to age and timelines in roleplay, there's some overlap with certain races. Humans and worgen go hand in hand, and the Forsaken were also at one point human. This means that when you're considering creating one of these three character races, you can pretty much look to the same timeline -- with a few adjustments for where said character grew up, lived, or died, of course.

Did you know that you can see Cho’gall before the first fight in Highmaul even begins? He’s in the cells behind the elevator — apparently when he traveled to Highmaul after Nagrand, he was thrown in prison. As the elevator lifts you into the arena, Cho’gall starts to laugh. Either he’s gleeful because he knows that stuff is about to go down that will allow him to start his hostile takeover, or he thinks your transmog looks really, really funny. Probably the latter, because Cho’gall has absolutely no manners at all. Or, you know, sanity for that matter.
