The Queue: I like the cut of Jenkin’s jib
by Matthew Rossi on January 5, 2022 at 12:00pm @MatthewWRossi
Turns out the saying “I like the cut of X person’s jib” is an old nautical reference to sailing days, when you could identify the nationality of a ship by its jib sail. Anyway, I really like this Jenkins kid. He’s really a go getter, wants to make a difference, and he’s a native of Eden Prime, the planet we’re on. I bet he’s going to distinguish himself on this ‘find the beacon’ mission. He seems affable, eager to please, and a real go getter, and displays no awful space racism at all.

The Queue: Everyone is fired.
by Anna Bell on January 4, 2022 at 12:00pm @liopleurodonic
I don’t know why nobody informed me that Cozy Grove is by far the best, most me game ever, but everyone who didn’t make me buy this game earlier is fired. Anna Washenko is safe. The rest of you? Fired.
That’s a pun, because a character in Cozy Grove is literally a fire. You still have to come in. Sorry for any confusion!

Now, where are the flying cars?
While I try and convince an engineer that flying cars would be a good thing in the hands of the general public, it’s time for — The Queue.
