I’ve always been a fan of scabbards and sheaths and it’s one of my big immersion breakers that weapons in WoW just sort of magnetically attach to my character. At the same time, the very idea of a scabbard for a blade the size of a small horse is wildly impractical, but then again, so is everything else about WoW weapon design.
