Dungeons
What content do you most enjoy in an MMO?
I'll be up front -- I thought the Mission Table was the best innovation in Warlords of Draenor. Now, many years later, the news that it won't be in Dragonflight fills me with a kind of joy I wasn't aware I was capable of feeling -- a boisterous, almost terrifyingly primal exultation, like unto that you would expect to feel just before you started singing and a musical number just sort of happens.
Everything we know about dungeons and raids in Dragonflight
With World of Warcraft's Dragonflight expansion launching on November 28, we now have details on the dungeons and raids that will be available at launch. Dragonflight includes eight new dungeons, all of which will be available on day one, as well as one raid — Vault of the Incarnates — that will open on December 13.
Blizzard tells us which dungeons and raids won’t be available for cross faction play on patch 9.2.5 release
If you're like me, you have a lot of friends on the other side of the faction divide, and so you may have been waiting patiently...
How would you like to see cross-faction play implemented?
No one is more surprised than I am to, after years of asking for it only to be denied, finally see someone at the World of Warcraft team -- much less the game's lead, Ion Hazzikostas -- talk about cross-faction raiding in an interview.
What changes would you like to see in dungeons?
The other day I was talking about how I miss Scenarios from Mists of Pandaria and I realized that one of the reasons I miss them is the fast queues -- that you could get in as soon as you had three players.
How would you like more group scaling in World of Warcraft?
I've been thinking about this one for a while -- with timewalking basically extending the life of various dungeons in World of Warcraft almost indefinitely, there's a lot of cool stuff in there, and it scales up to level -- what if we could run old raids with a group of five players and get loot scaled for the current expansion, perhaps even run those raids as Mythic+ dungeons?
What’s your favorite kind of content in an MMO?
Honestly, my favorite content in World of Warcraft used to be five-player dungeons, with raiding as a close second.
How often do you run Mythic+ dungeons?
Honestly, the Mythic+ revolution that we saw start in Legion has by and large passed me by.
How much Anima can you earn in a week? We did the math
The Covenant Sanctum asks each character that darkens its doorstep to earn 1,000 Anima every week -- but that's just the minimum players should be pulling.
The best way to gear up your alts in Shadowlands
I will absolutely never really feel comfortable telling you the best way to do anything for a variety of reasons.
