After all the Thanksgiving Day football shenanigans -- wait, since when are the Lions good?

Although we just crowned a whole slew of champions at BlizzCon a few weeks ago, the Blizzard esports action is still going on -- even if Blizzard isn't the one calling the shots in all the tournaments out there.

It was just a few short days of esports, but five world champions were crowned at BlizzCon 2016.

Esports are becoming a bigger and bigger deal for Blizzard.

The action continued over the weekend, and now there's only one Overwatch World Cup session to go before this BlizzCon esports Opening Week is in the history books.

BlizzCon Opening Week started out pretty well as we expected, but day three was a roller coaster ride.

Day two of BlizzCon esports got off to an early start, even for those of us following along from more eastward time zones than Pacific.

There's just too much action -- and too many teams in the brackets -- to confine all the esports titles to one short BlizzCon weekend.

BlizzCon isn't quite here yet, but the opening week of esports matches is nearly over.

This week, the official schedule for BlizzCon was announced, including the time slots and stages where esports competitions will take place.
