It was another of those odd weeks in Blizzard esports where things seem to be hotter outside the actual matches being played.

School is winding down for the year.

As April comes to a close the Blizzard esports competitions, like the weather, is really starting to heat up. The exception is Overwatch, of course, which continues its weird holding pattern of small events while we wait on any information.

At my house there's going to be a lot more heated debate over the TVs in the house capable of streaming, since the LCS Finals are this weekend.

The baseball season is underway and the hockey playoffs are just beginning, so it's about to get real at my house.

Spoiler alert: most of the Blizzard esports taking place this week are happening across the globe on Saturday.

It's that time of year again, when spring is starting in earnest.
