Now that the open beta for Heroes of the Storm is well underway, matchmaking is being flooded with new blood. While it is very exciting to see more people pick up the game, their lack of experience has ruffled some feathers among veteran players. But don’t worry - I’m here to help!
3 things I learned when starting Heroes of the Storm
The broadcast of the Heroes of the Dorm finals on ESPN inspired a lot of people (myself included) to scramble for beta keys and jump into the Nexus. My previous experience with League of Legends made me hesitant to throw myself into Heroes of the Storm head-first; on the surface the two games do seem very similar, to say the least. However, after trying out a few different heroes and cycling through some of the maps it's clear that whatever misgivings I had with LoL thankfully did not carry over.

In an announcement in the early hours of the morning, the development team released the launch date for Heroes of the Storm. Mark your calendars for June 2, 2015.
Heroes of the Storm Founder’s Pack offer ending soon
Today, Blizzard announced that they will no longer be offering the Founder's Pack after next Tuesday, April 7th. So if you can't wait for another way to get into the beta to pan out, the window to buy your way in is closing quick.
Heroes of the Storm patch notes: Sylvanas!
There are a number of new changes in the current closed beta patch to Heroes of the Storm. The most notable additions today are the Sylvanas Hero, the Spider Queen map and Team League, a new style of ranked play.
