Blizzard Watch

I have felt kind of like I'm failing the group in that we haven't seen either a dragon or a dungeon in the past few sessions of the Blizzard Watch Dungeons and Dragons game.

As is always the case, as the Dungeon Master for our "whenever we can herd enough players" D&D campaign it's up to me to recap what's happened so far.

When last we left our intrepid band of somewhat merry adventurers, Liz Harper, Anne Stickney, Cory Taylor, Joe "Lodur" Perez and Deb Montague (along with Mitch "Mitch" Mitchell, who won't be joining us this weekend unfortunately) were still exploring the mysterious island they found themselves stranded on after waking up in a volcano lair, being chased by a dragon made of lava, having an altercation on the beach with a bunch of Kobolds, and now, after a run-in with a mysterious shape shifting individual with unclear loyalties they've spent the night in an ancient building.

BlizzCon 2019 is officially over -- but day two didn't fall short on the exciting news front, and had just as much to obsess over as day one!

After 12 years of having the honor to write and create for you and this community, I’m stepping down as the head of Blizzard Watch. Tomorrow I will join Blizzard Entertainment as a Lead Program Manager on the Battle Net team.
