Sometimes I wonder just who's still playing Diablo 3 — because while I've found it a tremendously fun game, the lack of new content has left me bored.

Since we've heard nothing about a new Diablo 3 expansion (and the Necromancer is clearly not tied to any new expansion) I've found myself musing a lot about what I'd do next if I was in charge of Diablo as a property.

Without much in the way of new Diablo 3 content, I have to admit I haven't played the game in months.

We can't promise that it will upgrade any of your real-life gear to Legendary levels, but you can now 3D print your very own Kanai's Cube.

We've been eager to check out the Necromancer in Diablo 3 since it was announced way back at BlizzCon — but the relatively short closed beta didn't give us much of a chance.

I was invited into the closed beta for the Diablo 3 Necromancer and was able to take her to max level.

Next Wednesday on May 3rd, Diablo Senior Game Designer Travis Day and Lead VFX Artist Julian Love will be livestreaming at 4p.m.

It's been more than three years since Reaper of Souls, and there's been no sign of a new expansion for Diablo 3.

The closed beta test for Diablo 3 Necromancer class and associated content is now live.

The Diablo 3 Necromancer was announced back at BlizzCon 2016 and is finally making its way toward a beta testing phase.
