For a game with the word "immortal" in the title, you can die pretty easily in Diablo Immortal.

If you played Diablo 2 and its expansion, Lord of Destruction, then you saw the end of the established world order with the destruction of the Worldstone.

Diablo Immortal has been available for a couple days now on mobile, and it's been almost a day since the PC beta started — although calling it "early access" is probably a better descriptor as its cross-platform implementation ensures your character isn't in danger of being wiped when it exits beta — which means many people have had a chance to give it a try, and I'm curious about those initial forays into mobile Sanctuary.

Diablo Immortal can be played on a mobile device or on your PC, and you can freely share progression across every device.

Crests are the type of currency a mobile game like Diablo Immortal thrives on -- it's a currency you use order to do something else, but you can't really use it to do anything but that one activity, like a token for a mall carousel.

Diablo Immortal's launch is upon us, so it's probably time to begin thinking about what class you want to play as you start to vanquish the minions of hell.

Wyatt Cheng, the Game Director on Diablo Immortal and former patch lead on Diablo 3 who worked on the game at the time of its release, took to Twitter to answer fan questions in an impromptu Q&A to celebrate the game's 10th anniversary, and was asked about why the team on D3 at the time chose to create the best zone in the game, Whimsyshire.

Usually the sentence, "enjoy Echoing Nightmares forever," would seem kind of ominous, and well, it still does, because it's Diablo 3's 10th Anniversary, and in celebration we're getting the popular Echoing Nightmares mode from Season 26 added permanently to the game.

Diablo 2: Resurrected is getting it's first Ladder season on April 28 (29 in Europe and Asia) and there's a lot to cover if you're new to Ladder play.
