What video or board game is your go-to comfort game?
Video games impact people differently and provide more than just entertainment to players -- they give us a space to form social or emotional connections, memories, and attachment.
How has your experience with Dragonriding been so far?
When I roamed the Azure Span for the first time during the Dragonflight beta I had some issues with Dragonriding.
Which of the new Dragonflight factions is your favorite?
World of Warcraft's newest expansion, Dragonflight, has been live for over sixty hours now and I'm not at maximum level yet.
What’s your favorite small detail in Dragonflight?
Having finally managed to get logged in and play some Dragonflight, one of my favorite things in the expansion so far is all the dialogue available while talking to NPCs, whether they be major figures like Wrathion or Alexstrasza or minor figures like the inn keeper at the embassy who will, if asked, explain to you why there are so many ruined buildings there.
How was your Dragonflight launch-day experience?
The latest World of Warcraft expansion, the reasonably long-awaited Dragonflight, is now live.
What are your Dragonflight launch-day plans?
The clock is counting down and the release of Dragonflight is near!
What is your favorite holiday-themed event in any game?
One Tuesday morning late October 2015, I fired up my PS4 and logged in to Destiny with the intention of grabbing bounties, perusing the vendors for any interesting rolls on weapons and armor, and maybe hopping in to a strike or two or mess around in Patrol.
How long does it take you to know if you like a game?
Some games, I knew instantly they were going to be games I would play over and over again. World of Warcraft actually had me within minutes of my then-girlfriend showing it to me.
What content do you most enjoy in an MMO?
I'll be up front -- I thought the Mission Table was the best innovation in Warlords of Draenor. Now, many years later, the news that it won't be in Dragonflight fills me with a kind of joy I wasn't aware I was capable of feeling -- a boisterous, almost terrifyingly primal exultation, like unto that you would expect to feel just before you started singing and a musical number just sort of happens.
How should Blizzard handle Allied Race restrictions in Dragonflight?
The first Allied Races we got were unlockable by doing Legion content, and the others all required Battle for Azeroth unlocks, which means as of Dragonflight we're talking two or three expansions ago. World of Warcraft certainly seems to be trying to make leveling easier and more streamlined, but that also makes those older expansion unlocks for Allied Races more and more extraneous, in my opinion.
