Although you will be reading this post on Friday, I am writing it on Monday because I'll be taking a bit of a vacation.

Critical Role announced this week that Campaign 3 will be taking a monthlong break starting at the end of May for yet another installment of Exandria Unlimited, titled Exandria Unlimited: Calamity.

With the recent news of Spelljammer and Dragonlance both returning to D&D 5e, and our previous ruminations on both of these systems making an appearance in the modern game, it's time to muse about settings we could see for the latest iteration of Dungeons and Dragons.

There are two things happening this weekend likely to steal most of the chatter: A new Doctor Strange movie and Mother's Day.

Lost amidst the excitement for the rebirth of the Dragonlance and Spelljammer settings for 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons was the return of another artifact from D&D's past -- the Monstrous Compendium.

Multiclassing in Dungeons and Dragons 5e can be rewarding, but it can also end up cheating you out of abilities you'd otherwise get -- it mixes together aspects of various classes and does so in a way unique to this edition of the game.
