Unfortunately, I only have one of those things right now. But it still made for a fun title.

Anyhow, Queue.

Just what it says on the tin. Let’s talk Warcraft. And maybe some other stuff if we get distracted.

There I was, minding my own business in the mid-afternoon. Suddenly, it was hours later. I couldn’t remember anything that happened in between, but my fingers ached and my head was swimming. Ordinarily I would try to make sense of it, but since it was a big announcement day I just popped a couple ibuprofen and kept on typing.

This is The Queue, and most of the Qs that need As today are unsurprisingly about patch 8.3. We have all the info you need so far about patch 8.3, but sometimes there are even more questions to answer!

One of the things I really appreciate about WoW Classic is just the fact that all these old quests that were removed in Cataclysm are suddenly back again. Some of those quests contain information that is still relevant and perfect valid even in the current expansion. I may only be playing Classic occasionally, but it’s really nice to be able to hit up those old story threads for a refresher course in the actual game, rather than tracking down all the relevant information on a website, you know? Anyway, let’s get to your questions, shall we?

I mean, seriously. The temptation to try and come up with something for Mitch to do… but I don’t see this ending well for anyone.

So yes. We must be cautious here, folks. This is bat country. Also, it’s the Queue.

Today’s title is inspired by the first Q&A, which I did post in the comments but felt worth repeating here. What am I talking about, you ask? Read on to find out!

Every game needs a secret cow level, every game has a secret cow level.

The Overwatch Official Cookbook came out today! I got my grubby hands on a copy, and so tomorrow night over on the Blizzard Watch Twitch channel we’re doing our first cooking stream. It’s packed with tiny lore tidbits, ranging from small details to bigger confirmations. It confirms in print that Jack Morrison had an ex-boyfriend, for instance — they weren’t just “gal pals.” We knew that via context clues, but it wasn’t explicitly stated beyond a head writer’s Twitter account. It also adds in a few small details of the universe that seem pretty irrelevant but are still fun and add some flavor to the universe — Torbjorn’s wife makes a killer apple pie, and is also a chemical engineer. Wait, that makes her a strong contender for Hero 32! I’m going to have to rethink this…

Now I need to clean my kitchen, so while I avoid doing that here’s a Queue.
