Somewhere in Stormheim there exists a Vrykul who has a killer shoe collection and a vanity worthy of any beauty vlogger. Did they build this cozy hideaway out of shame, or because they needed someplace free of distractions and possible disruptions to their recording sessions? More importantly, where can I catch the next Valarjar Emissary cache unboxing vid?

The Queue: Louder than Love

Chris Cornell died this week. There’s a personal soundtrack to the years between 1990 and 2000 that I accumulated, and he’s all over it — Seasons, Birth Ritual, Room a Thousand Years Wide  — so it immediately hit me how many times of my life were related to him and his work. Doing laundry in my college dorm listening to Superunknown, going on my first real college date to a bar where Jesus Christ Pose was playing.

I don’t have any commentary on what happens aside from that it’s a blow to me and a lot of others who the man touched with his music.

Okay. Let’s talk about stuff.

Is anyone else kind of hoping that with the resolution of Suramar’s storyline, we might actually see some Nightborne explorers checking out the world? I mean, they’ve been in that bubble for ten thousand years or so. You’d think they’d want to check out all the stuff they missed, right? Even if they don’t become some kind of playable race, I’d still love to see them expand beyond the Broken Isles.

On the one hand, I think the Spring Balloon Festival is my favorite micro-holiday so far. I mean, you get to kick back and listen to a tour guide take you through various points of interest in various areas around the world. Relaxing, right? The only drawback to this is that you have to have three people present before you go on a ride. If nobody else happens to be around, you’re out of luck — and that doesn’t really feel very good. I wish it’d just let you hop in solo if nobody else happens to be nearby. Maybe next time they’ll have that option? Let’s hope so.
