I’ve been working stages at the local carnival this last weekend (and all of the rest of the upcoming week) and boy is faire food both enticing and absolutely disgusting sounding.

Of course, I want to eat things deep-fried that shouldn’t be. Do I want to eat the pop rocks-covered fried chicken, maybe not…

I’m sure that I’ll eat my weight in mini-doughnuts before the end of the carnival though.

While I look into bigger pants, it’s time for — The Queue!

I don’t have answers to these questions, but I’m going to try to answer your questions. Let’s Queue.

Y’know, I don’t say this too often, but this week went by kinda quickly. I mean, I know we have a day or so left until the weekend but all the same.

Then again, this could all just be the effect of time normalizing after Covid slowed everything down. Who knows! What I do know is…

In case you’re wondering, this is what it looks like when you’re playing a class that hasn’t had its talent update put into the Dragonflight alpha yet.

So, I asked for podcast questions yesterday and then the podcast ran long and we only got to a couple, so some of them I’m gonna answer here because they’re good questions, Brant.

My brain tends to work in a weird web, where someone mentions something, which reminds me of a second thing, the mention of which then reminds me of a third thing, and on down the line until suddenly I surface with a reference or comment which seems like a total non-sequitur, but it makes sense to me.

Anyway, pirates.

It’s 2022, and I’ve been playing so much Diablo 3 that my brain honestly feels like it’s reset back to 2012. But also I’m in the Dragonflight alpha (no new Warrior talents yet, I am sad to report) so it’s definitely 2022. It’s a less than ideal way to keep track of time.

Cory needed to get some other stuff done so I’m here today. I’m listening to my Wake the Pirate Ghost Up track. What are y’all listening to?

Dragons! Dragons are great and I love them! Really, who doesn’t love dragons? Everybody loves dragons. So let’s spend today talking about Dragons, and definitely not thinking about boring things like Valor Points.

In case I haven’t already made it painfully obvious — or the alpha has stolen all the attention from me — today is my birthday! Specifically, it’s my 30th birthday.

It’s a bit surreal in some respects, but it’s exciting all the same! I mean, it would be more exciting if I hadn’t recently caught Covid (again) but hey, I’m making the most of it. And wouldn’t ya know it, despite having a whole day of plans rescheduled, Blizz was kind enough to give me a birthday/get-well present in the form of an alpha! 😊 I’ll be off enjoying that as well as the other benefits of not having to worry about a dang thing today. In the meantime…
