The Queue: The one where we talk about dragons
Spoiler alert: they’re all the one where we talk about dragons.
Dragons are just so great. The flying? That’s great. All of those colorful scales? Pretty great! The ability to go full on Onyxia and deep breath your enemies? Really super great. I just really love dragons is what I’m saying. Video game dragons, fictional dragons, it doesn’t matter.
Dragons are just great, and if you disagree with me …. well, you’re just wrong.

Queue time, y’all.
The Queue: Ducks
Ducks and their relatives have been around for a long, long time — there are fossils of waterfowl related to ducks and geese going back to before the Cretaceous/Paleogene extinction event. Vegavis was not an ancestor of or a member of the Anatidae, but it was certainly a relative. Other possible (although more dubious) duck relatives include the Demon Duck of Doom, aka Bullockornis, although a lot of paleontologists think they’re more closely related to chickens.
Why on Earth do I bring this up? Well, WoW has a tendency to add things like saber teeth or spiked tails to animals that did not or do not actually have them. And man, I’m hoping they go whole-hog on ducks and give us something like Garganornis except with giant teeth in its bill for no reason whatsoever.
It’s the Queue. Let’s duck this!
The Queue: But what’s happening to my justice points?
Truly time is a mutable force, able to be changed and altered by many means, from nostalgia to pain, from elation to grief. We cannot know exactly what time holds for us, only that everything will change, but the past always remains the same, and can help to inform the future.
This is The Queue, where you ask us questions and we wax philosophical and hope you don’t realize we’re super late. Not like there’s anything else going on anyway.
The Queue: Wait, today’s a holiday?
Here I am ready for another fun and exciting Queue, and apparently, it’s a holiday?!
I’ve never been so bamboozled in all of my life!
While I try and figure out a way to get back my lost relaxing time, it’s time for — The Queue.
The Queue: Naga, Murlocs, and Pirates — oh my!
Which would you rather have — one 6/6 orca or six 1/1 otters? This is the difficult question that the new Hearthstone card Flipper Friends asks you, and I admit I don’t know if I’d prefer to have the friendship of this happy, smiling orca or these happy, smiling otters.
But since I can’t answer that question, let me try to answer yours.
The Queue: A week of firsts
I didn’t exactly plan it this way, but in the past week, I’ve been to the movies, rock climbed, and started playing WoW again — all things I haven’t done in a very long time. It’s been nice, although still partially feels off. Also rock climbing absolutely destroyed what was barely left of my muscles. It’s gonna be a minute before I can climb how I used to.
But you know what’s not a first? A Thursday Mitch Queue. Buckle up — it’s Queue time.
The Queue: It’s 2020 forever
Sorry, kids. Looks like time broke in 2020. We’re stuck in Groundhog Day: The Groundhog Year, forever repeating the same pandemic, the same chaos, the same crisis after crisis after crisis. The events change, but the song remains the same as we repeat 2020 forever. Heck, they’re even calling it 2022, as in 2020 2 — it’s a sequel no one asked for.
It’s the Queue. It’s 2020 2: Less Than Electric Boogaloo. Let’s do.
The Queue: I have no idea what year it is
I feel like this is a very common theme for me lately.
This is The Queue, where you ask us questions and we’ll answer while we online shop because apparently there’s another holiday coming up?
The Queue: Redeemed
We did it! We saved Anduin!
It felt really nice to finally get that fight, he’s definitely the fight in Sepulcher that has caused my guild the most issues on Heroic so far. Although I’m not looking forward to figuring out what new twist the Lords of Dread have for us.
Tonight was a rough raid night though, we had not one, but two(!) sub 1% wipes on Anduin. We got so close and then spent another hour and a half getting back to close and getting the kill. It was almost a super clean kill too, he was at 5% health left, and the first wave of the debuffs was wearing off when someone walked their exploding debuff right over top of the tanks and melee…
If we didn’t have two battle rezzes available I would’ve been writing a much different post right now.
While I try and figure out who blew me up, it’s time for — The Queue.
