There are a few things I talk about pretty regularly here at Blizzard Watch -- among all the Void-y, Bloodborne-vibes goodness, I love me some Splatoon.

Ok, fine, depending on how you mark the turning of the seasons, we're still a few weeks away from it technically being autumn.

Massive screens are all the rage with mobile devices these days, but even an 8-inch phone isn't quite the same experience as playing a game on a TV or monitor.

Like many modern games, Diablo 4 will have a Season Pass system that includes a rewards track with both free and premium tiers for you to progress through and earn in-game rewards while you play.

The latest alpha build for World of Warcraft's forthcoming expansion Dragonflight included a new feature coded as "Soft Targeting." An alternative to the standard tab target or click-to-interact that WoW players have been using for years, the soft target feature will automatically target an NPC or enemy within medium range that your camera is centered on -- you don't have to get right in their face, thankfully, but casters and hunters will find it hard to start combat from maximum range with this feature.

Funcom is making a Dune survival MMO, called Dune: Awakening, which is taking a survival approach, less like WoW and more like Conan Exiles or Ark: Survival Evolved -- without Dinosaurs and with gigantic spice worms -- so it's up to you if that's an improvement.

This weekend is one of those weekends I’ve been looking forward to for so long that it’s hard to believe it’s actually here. I speak, of course, of the return of Splatfests! As I’m sure I’ve mentioned at least once here, this is a brand-new Splatfest format, now featuring THREE sides instead of two (and a slightly different match-up format as a result).

I have no idea how it’ll go, but I’m excited all the same. Also, I’m leaning heavily toward #TeamRock because of Big Man, but I also really like Shiver’s (#TeamPaper) style.

Anyhow, while I think on that, we have a Queue to get to.
