Well, it’s Friday… again. I just don’t know how this keeps happening.

This week we discuss Overwatch 2’s new playable hero Junker Queen, the Necromancer class announced for Diablo 4, and which games we are most excited for from this week’s Summer Game Fest 2022 event.

Several of my coworkers were talking about video game trailers, and the 2019 BlizzCon reveal of Diablo 4 came up.

I love demos, and Steam's Next Fest event through Monday has got me covered in spades, with hundreds of demos to try out.

New content has been scarce in Overwatch 1, so Overwatch 2 is coming out of the gate with big promises for a steady schedule of content releases.

We’re only 85 days away from Splatoon 3, but I’m still itching for some Splatfests. Y’all remember those, right? Hopefully Nintendo will do that pre-launch thing they sometimes do and have a beta Splatfest. Wouldn’t that be rad? (Yes, yes it would.)

There still hasn't really been a video game-based movie that's been a runaway success.

Amidst the woes about the Diablo Immortal monetization model — which effectively allows players to buy their way to more character power — some players have grown concerned that a similar path could be laid out for the upcoming Diablo 4.

One thing that’s really hampering my ability to actually progress in Diablo Immortal is my inability to stop myself from rolling yet another Barbarian and testing out the different options for tweaking their faces and hair colors. I feel like if there were a few more baseline options to start with this could really be something great, especially considering it works across six classes and two gender options.

Yes, this is utterly trivial. I’ve got a lot on my mind, okay? It helps fight off the sad thoughts. Feeling down? Spend a half hour coming up with a face for a Barbarian, go into Wertham, kill stuff until you get bored and then start it all over again.
