Sometimes events in our little corner of the gaming world surprise you, and sometimes those surprises almost feel like they shouldn't be surprises.

I’m sure a few of you out there understand how excited I am for this game, but man… I am so freaking excited for this game. I even managed to snag myself a pre-order of the Special Edition Switch, which… well, that’s very much not my usual M.O. for a console I already own, even if I am able to sell it. March 20 cannot get here faster.

World of Warcraft's replacement for Titanforged and Warforged gear, Corrupted gear, has gone through a lot of changes in the three weeks since patch 8.3 dropped -- not too long ago, for example, we saw Infinite Stars and a host of other Corrupted gear abilities get significant nerfs.

I am simultaneously terrified of and intrigued by Corrupted gear in World of Warcraft.

So last night this dropped. Combined with the 2h weapon from my Proudmoore Admiralty emissary chest, I have two 445 weapons, which is doing pretty well for my very casual self in my very casual raid. But on perusing my transmog collection, I now realized I have Sk’shuul Vaz, Dark Edge of Insanity and Xal’atoh, Desecrated Image of Gorehowl. I’m pretty sure this means I have every 2h axe that has a big eye (or several) sticking out of it in the entire game.

I feel like Dark Edge is my formal eyeball axe, Xal’atoh is my party eyeball axe, and Sk’shuul Vaz is my casual eyeball axe. This is the Queue. How many eyes is too many, really?

Overwatch introduced three new Workshop maps for fun game modes and other experiments.

I really haven't liked my professions for several expansions -- I think the last time I really enjoyed crafting in World of Warcraft was during The Burning Crusade, if only because that was when I made my Lionheart Executioner.

Overwatch just dropped three new maps into the game's PTR for Workshop and Custom Game players to mess around in.

Pet battling in the newly revamped Vale of Eternal Blossoms after patch 8.3 can be an easy way to gain yourself some rep and cool stuff depending on the daily as long as you know how to defeat your opponents.
