Blizzard is bringing their best to Gamescom this year.

Gamescom, one of the world's biggest gaming conventions, starts next week — Tuesday, August 22nd — and in the past it's seen some pretty big news out of Blizzard.

The Gamescom speculation continues.

Blizzard recently confirmed their attendance at this year's Gamescom, taking place August 22 through August 26.

Though BlizzCon is typically the company's biggest event of the year, Blizzard is starting to use Gamescom as its European stage. And if recent years are any indication, we can expect some big announcements.

Gamescom is coming to a very exciting conclusion in Europe's regional finals today. Luckily, there's still plenty of Heroes of the Storm esports to keep our hype trains chugging on til Machines of War raider-rolls into the Nexus on September 13th.
