Shipyard

I have mixed feelings about the shipyard in my garrison -- or rather, next to my garrison, as I have to travel down a hill to get to it.

Patch 6.2 brought a lot of new content to World of Warcraft, and where there's new content, there's room for confusion.

So you've ran the introduction quest line to patch 6.2, built your shipyard, collected oil and sent a few boats to their watery doom when you realized they don't have the right equipment to counter the threats on the map.

With the release of patch 6.2 on Tuesday came the next step in the Garrison mission game: shipyard missions.

Patch 6.2 is here, which means it's time to build up your own garrison shipyard: which means gathering garrison resources and hunting for a new one: oil.

Yesterday, fresh on the heels of the announcement that flying was coming back to Draenor, the Blizzard team released a preview of one of the biggest features coming to World of Warcraft in patch 6.2: the shipyard.

Blizzard has posted a look at the new questing area that is the center piece of patch 6.2, the Tanaan Jungle.

The devs have been hard at work creating the new Shipyard addition to our garrisons for patch 6.2. This build, they added several new, diverse rewards for sending your brand new boats on missions from your shipyard that may pique your interest.

In patch 6.2, we get to add shipyards to our garrisons in order to better assault Tanaan Jungle, fight the Iron Horde, and of course send our ships on missions to bring back all kinds of valuable loot.
