Torghast

Honestly, my favorite content in World of Warcraft used to be five-player dungeons, with raiding as a close second.

Torghast supposed to be an ever-changing prison, and living up to that theme, the Tower of the Damned is getting a major remodel in patch 9.1.

Last week, we found out through datamining that the Kyrian are changing the way they do things in patch 9.1.

There are some new changes coming to Torghast in patch 9.1, one of which is a new bonus area, Adamant Vaults.

We already noted that in patch 9.1, you'll be able to send Soul Ash to alts, meaning that you could conceivably farm Soul Ash on a bunch of your characters and funnel it towards one you want to craft a legendary for.

Once patch 9.1 is released, you'll finally have something to spend your Phantasma on that you can take home with you from Torghast!

Torghast is a fairly unique kind of content for World of Warcraft, combining aspects of previous systems like the Mage Tower, scenarios, the Horrific Visions from previous expansions, and adding in a touch of Diablo 3's Rifts.

I won't lie, while I like Torghast, I ended up feeling like it missed the boat in terms of delivering a satisfying single-player experience.

This week is the Unbridled Darkness bonus event, the final of three special events on rotation in Torghast, and this is the first of the events that appears to have been inspired by a decade-old April Fool's Day joke -- the Tomb of Immortal Darkness.
