Transmog
Shadowlands Covenants have tons of cool cosmetic rewards to choose from
Choosing one of the four Shadowlands Covenants will be a key choice as players enter the new expansion.
What do you do for Hallow’s End and Halloween in WoW?
Every year, I dress up as Rhonin.
New dubloon loot boxes coming in patch 8.3 will help you get the Island Expedition mount you’ve wanted all expansion
Island Expeditions have gone through a few changes over the course of Battle for Azeroth. Blizzard has had a hard time figuring out the best way for us to get our shiny rewards from Islands.
Look like Sylvanas, Varian, a vampire, and much more with these spooky Hallow’s End transmog sets
It's Hallow's End and a great time to dress up in a costume.
We will finally be dapper werewolves and maniac goblins with Patch 8.3’s heritage armor
We were all saddened when we didn't get Goblin and Worgen Heritage Armor in patch 8.2.5.
What else should be available to transmog?
Blizzard is caving to popular demand and making the flower crowns a permanent transmog option.
What, if anything, have you never managed to get in-game?
Just as an update for y'all leaving comments on Wowhead -- nope, I still don't have my shoulders.
How often do you change your transmog?
The first rule of being the best raider you can be is making sure that you look your best.
The Queue: Transmog happiness
The only way I could be happier with transmog in WoW right now is if they let me mog Fist Weapons over 2h Weapons.
This is the Queue. Let’s go.
My Final Fantasy XIV FC hosted a costume contest, and it felt like I was watching a real-life cosplay competition
It was only a couple months ago that I started playing Final Fantasy XIV. As a longtime World of Warcraft player, it's hard not to compare the two games all the time, even if just subconsciously. While both games certainly share a host of features, they vary in even more. Most notably -- for me, anyhow -- Final Fantasy XIV's wealth of in-game looks and customization options never seems to stop surprising.
Case in point: My Free Company (FC) -- basically the FFXIV equivalent of a guild -- hosted a costume contest this past Wednesday, and oh. my. Yogg. I expected some clever outfits. I did not expect Anna and Elsa, Sailor Saturn, Soldier: 76, Link, or Mickey Mouse (just to name a few) to show up. Nor did I expect them to show up looking as similar to their original counterparts as they did. The whole thing felt like I was watching an actual real-life cosplay competition unfold, and the experience was frankly too much fun not to share.
