The Queue: BfA impressions, Sylvanas vs Saurfang, BW status, and eggs
Happy last-week-of-Legion folks! Let us Queue.
The Queue: She is eager for next Tuesday
I spent today on my Death Knight killing Horde in Darkshore. Forsaken were my special targets, and since I was on a Blood DK I would pull up to a dozen if I had to in order to kill that Forsaken Priest or Warlock. It was kind of cathartic. I’m playing my Death Knight, because in a strange way it feels like she would be the one to handle what’s happening in Kalimdor the best of my Night Elves. Oh, she’s angry, but she’s dead — she’s used to everything falling apart and monsters murdering everything, she used to be in the Scourge.
Still, next week when we walk into Undercity and give back what we’ve been given will be sweet. She’s looking forward to it.
The Queue: Let’s just chill
Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!
I like that Battle for Azeroth comes with emergency meditation kits. Okay, technically it’s a scroll, but if you wanted to just sit, chill, and ponder inner peace, the game has you covered. So have a seat, relax, and let’s just chat for a while, okay?
The Queue: I thought we were friends!
I’m just not into the us vs. them rhetoric that fuels Battle for Azeroth, but this is the story we have, so there’s nothing to do but roll with it.
Here’s a picture of a hamster to start the Queue off right.
The Queue: Can’t I?
I have a feeling today’s going to be a pretty big day in the World of Warcraft.
With that in mind, whatever does happen today, please tag your spoilers in the comments!!! As excited as you may be to discuss things, not everyone will be able to experience them until later today or tomorrow.
Understood? Good! Let’s Queue.
The Queue: What ever happened to Star Wars: The Old Republic?
Yes, this is a Queue about another game. But at the same time it’s about WoW and what sets it apart from the rest of the industry year after year.
The Queue: They can’t all be winners
Look, I’m tired, I got my eye injections this week and it’s really been painful as heck this time, let’s just do the Queue without the pressure of me trying to be funny. Because I’m all out of funny this week.
Questions and answers and all that kind of thing.
The Queue: They grow up so fast
Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!
Every time I visit Stormwind’s throne room I get a little bit weirded out that the little boy I remember from classic is now sitting on the throne. I think it’s just that it’s a visual reminder of just how long this game has been around. He’s certainly changed from the days of Generic Blonde Child Model, that’s for sure!
You know what doesn’t change? Questions — you have them, and you’d like them answered. So let’s get to that, shall we?
The Queue: Waiting for nap time
It’s kind of like waiting for Godot, only it feels like it takes longer.
The Queue: Not a squid or a kid
This month’s Splatfest was a special one — it was the one-year anniversary Splatfest! As such, Nintendo decided to have squids face off against the game’s newest playable characters: octopuses. When I say “newest playable,” I mean you normally need to have the Octo Expansion to play as an octoling. For the Splatfest, however, anyone on the side of octopuses got to play as one!
Given looks are everything in life, I went with the side of the octopuses. Their hairstyles are just so much cooler. Sadly, despite being the more popular side, squids won the overall contest thanks to actual wins. Ah well, it was a super cool and fun Splatfest — and I haven’t even mentioned the Shifty Station this time around (it was so good, you guys).
But enough of that. Let’s Queue.
