Okay, if you're into paleontology at all, even just as a nerdy layman like myself, seeing the news that "Stan," one of the most famous Tyrannosaurus specimens in the world, has been sold to a private collector for a big ol' pile of money -- $31.8 million USD to be exact -- will likely cause you to have opinions.

We've know for awhile now that the Mighty Caravan Brutosaur would no longer be available for sale in Shadowlands — the dino will be gone in patch 9.0.1 which goes live next week. And while many are lamenting its imminent removal from vendors, it's not gone for good, because it will be periodically available on the Black Market Auction House, starting with the pre-patch.

Folks may remember that when Hearthstone was first released in 2014, it bore the subtitle "Heroes of Warcraft," which it lost two years later. While the precise reason the moniker was removed hasn't been stated, one interpretation is that when the playable heroes in Hearthstone are all recognizable from the Warcraft franchise, it's superfluous...

Shadowlands has potential to be a great expansion, but Shadowlands also has potential to be a problematic expansion.

Welcome one and all to the Hearthstone Hallow's End Masquerade Ball Tavern Brawl.

For me, it was the rumored possibility of being able to transmog our shoulder armor independently that I realize no one promised me, but I really got my hopes up for it and now I'm sad it doesn't seem to be coming in Shadowlands.

Yes, you can now solo Legion raids, and Blizzard has even updated the Legacy Loot system so that Legion raids use it.

With the release of the Shadowlands pre-patch coming on October 13th all of our carefully collected Corrupted gear will be going away.

So I watched The Velocipastor last night.

It’s not a good movie, but it is an astonishing watch. It’s a movie that knows just how weird, potentially bad, and completely off the rails it is. Saying it’s funny feels disingenuous — it’s a movie that is very deliberately crackerjack, a film that will present you drug dealing religious zealots from China who are also Ninjas in a battle against a disillusioned Catholic Priest who cuts his hand on a dinosaur tooth and becomes, well, you’ve seen the title of the movie.
