Dungeons & Dragons is the gold standard in tabletop role-playing games.

I love my Dinobear. I very nearly turned myself into a Highmountain Tauren, they have moose antlers after all. As a Canadian, it felt like something I needed to have. But then they showed off the Dinosaur forms and I had no choice. I had to be a Dinosaur.

But enough about how Dinosaur Druids are the best. It’s time for — The Queue.

There are plenty of unanswered questions around Shadowlands, and that's why we're so keen to get our hands on Shadows Rising by Madeleine Roux.

Blizzard has been waging war with bots and gold farmers since the original days of World of Warcraft, so it's not exactly a surprise that they've found themselves engaged in that same war in WoW Classic, especially since gold is not as easily acquired there as it is in the modern game.

I keep thinking about the Forsaken following Battle for Azeroth.

Update: Season 20 has come to a close, but never fear, because Season 21 should be live in the next couple of weeks.

Dragons?

When was the last time you played Hearthstone's Kobolds and Catacombs Dungeon Run?

If you've been playing Dungeons and Dragons for any length of time, you've probably heard of the Drow.

Last Saturday, I woke up around 5 am with a shooting pain in my eye and black, sqirming shapes floating in my field of vision. This wasn’t a new experience. I have had it before, and a visit to my retina specialist confirmed that a blood vessel had exploded inside my eye, leaving blood trails between the retina and the lens floating in the vitreous portion of my eyeball. I was given an injection, and hopefully the blood will be reabsorbed by next week, because the next stage would be surgery — actual surgery, with scalpels and everything, and not merely the laser surgery I undergo a few times a year.

Anyway, as you might expect I haven’t been playing a lot of video games this week. Mostly I’ve been watching the loathsome blood eels writhe around the inside of my eye. It’s really distracting trying to focus on things while these odd shapes coalesce and then dissipate into greasy swarms of black dots.
