World of Warcraft patch 9.0.1 — the fabled "pre-expansion patch" — is now live on the PTR, bringing with it many Shadowlands features, including the Scourge-packed pre-expansion event, which we now know is going live November 10th.
A new bug appears to have emerged with the release of the pre-patch last week that is keeping Alliance characters from proceeding on the quests into Kul Tiras and the Battle for Azeroth War Campaign.
Welcome to patch day!
With the release of the Shadowlands pre-patch coming on October 13th all of our carefully collected Corrupted gear will be going away.
When the Shadowlands pre-patch arrives on October 13, all characters will be getting their levels squished.
The good news is, we now know the date of the 9.0.1 pre-patch leading up to World of Warcraft's Shadowlands expansion -- October 13.
So, one of the big questions people have asked about the leveling squish since it was announced for Shadowlands is simply what level will I be when the expansion arrives? While it's easy for certain characters -- if you're level 120 now, you'll be level 50 once the pre-patch for the upcoming expansion comes out -- it's not that easy for your level 73 Druid.
The Shadowlands pre-patch is nearly upon us, and it still has a few surprises in store.
Corruption was the major gameplay system added to bring more depth and choices to itemization in Battle for Azeroth's patch 8.3, and it's seen a lot of updates, hotfixes, and changes since it went live.
More and more lately, World of Warcraft seems to be headed for some sort of major change in factions as we know them.
