Treasure Goblin

Diablo 4 has another event on the horizon, but with some (permanent) inclusions to the title that may look a little familiar.

Diablo 4 finally arrives this weekend and World of Warcraft is celebrating with the return of the Treasure Goblin from the 20th Anniversary event (the Cow King is missing in action, perhaps a hint of the Cow Level possibly missing in D4).

A new Diablo-themed crossover event is now live in World of Warcraft: A Greedy Emissary, in which Treasure Goblins spawn across Azeroth and offer Diablo-themed loot, including the Tyreal's Charger mount, a 36-slot bag, and the adorably demonic Baa’lial battle pet.

Diablo 3 has gone through 24 Seasons since the concept was introduced in August 2014, but the creation of Themed Seasons starting with Season 14 in August 2018 gave them a new style of gameplay.

Once upon a time in Diablo 3, Season 14 had just begun.

The cackle of a treasure goblin sparks a Pavlovian response in any Diablo 3 player.

The headline's a little misleading -- it's not actually a treasure goblin, and also it's not technically a goblin, but it's still pretty cool -- but these new Lost Dredger mobs that spawn in Torghast allow you to farm up a lot of Phantasma and can even drop an Anima Cell letting you get even more Anima Powers, which makes your time spent in Torghast a lot easier and more fun.

The temptation to answer the headline of this post with a giant yes was irresistable, and yet, I have not simply written yes in giant ten foot tall letters.

Not every class in Diablo 3 can have a pet to fight along side them, but everyone can have a non-combat pet to keep them company.
