Hello and happy Friday, everyone!

I have a tragic confession to make: I have no pets of my own.

I haven' t quite finished Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, the new CRPG from Owlcat Games adapting the Adventure Path from Paizo's Pathfinder tabletop RPG.

Another Friday, another WRUP.

This weekend, the Tavern Watch podcast — our brand new show focusing on tabletop RPGs — will be a special one because we're going to be talking to Brendan Conway, Lead Designer for the upcoming Avatar Legends tabletop RPG. You know, the game that just became most successful RPG Kickstarter pledge drive ever, raising over $7 million to build the Avatar tabletop game we've always wanted to play.

Yes, technically Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a game about being a Viking and stabbing lots of people, but it's also secretly about gathering lots and lots of cute animals to roam around your settlement.

Many of the creatures we think of as "dinosaurs" are wrong.

Not every game has DLC, of course, but I think Diablo 3 did when it introduced the Necromancer class as a downloadable pack.
