The Queue

I’m sure a few of you out there understand how excited I am for this game, but man… I am so freaking excited for this game. I even managed to snag myself a pre-order of the Special Edition Switch, which… well, that’s very much not my usual M.O. for a console I already own, even if I am able to sell it. March 20 cannot get here faster.

While we wait, though, why not have a Queue?

So last night this dropped. Combined with the 2h weapon from my Proudmoore Admiralty emissary chest, I have two 445 weapons, which is doing pretty well for my very casual self in my very casual raid. But on perusing my transmog collection, I now realized I have Sk’shuul Vaz, Dark Edge of Insanity and Xal’atoh, Desecrated Image of Gorehowl. I’m pretty sure this means I have every 2h axe that has a big eye (or several) sticking out of it in the entire game.

I feel like Dark Edge is my formal eyeball axe, Xal’atoh is my party eyeball axe, and Sk’shuul Vaz is my casual eyeball axe. This is the Queue. How many eyes is too many, really?

It is morning, and I’ve already heard this song roughly seven thousand times. I am not, however, allowed to sing along with it, because my four year old is a harsher critic than any voice teacher I’ve ever had.

This is the Queue, where you ask us questions and we try to answer before the next earworm hits.

Wasn’t that some great football yesterday? I didn’t really have a horse in the race since I don’t follow the NFL that much, but both teams played really well. If your favorite team won, congratulations! If not, better luck next year!

How great was that halftime show too? Shakira and J Lo put on an amazing performance. I’m still holding out for the Weird Al one though. He put on a pretty great show during the 2016 BlizzCon, and I bet that he could bring the house down at the Superbowl. Who knew that the only thing the Superbowl was missing was accordion polkas? As good as the game and the halftime show was, my favorite part is seeing the food everyone makes for their viewing parties. Some people go all out, and I love it when they make tiny stadiums to hold all the snacks or cheese balls that look like footballs.

I’m getting hungry just thinking about it, so we better get Queuing so I can go eat lunch.

Anyone else find themselves typing “refroged” instead of “reforged”? I don’t really know why it happens, but I have to continually correct myself. That said, it’s funny to picture Warcraft 3 but with frogs in place of the characters.

Anyhow, who’s ready to Queue?

It’s all just a bit much, Ny’alotha. I mean, it doesn’t even exist, it’s a vision or an alternate reality or N’Zoth’s dream for the future in the present and I really just feel like the whole enterprise is trying too hard. Old Gods just don’t know when to take it down a notch.

Sorry, I’ve been super busy lately. No, no, not running around Kalimdor visiting random people to get all the flower crowns. Of course not. Something else, probably.

Hey, I definitely have time to answer some questions while I’m not on a flight from Uldum to Feralas, so let’s get to Queuein’!

I’ve only had Bitey Mcstabface for a couple of days, but if anything ever happened to him I would destroy Azeroth. Look at that cute little face. That’s the kind of face that just makes you fall in love with something. Not to mention those teeth! Those are the kind of chompers that would make a beaver jealous! Forget about that giant sword just sticking out of the planet in Silithus — Bitey Mcstabface will gnaw through that in no time at all.

I am curious about the naming breakdown. There are four options there, did everyone choose Bitey McStabface for their Larva? Almost everyone that I’ve talked to so far has chosen that — but there are always outliers. I’m running a quick Twitter poll so vote for what name you chose, or would choose if you haven’t started the quest chain yet.

In the meantime, lets Queue!

So I was really looking forward to hitting up Ny’alotha, but a Mac bug in patch 8.3 means my client crashes pretty regularly while doing any group content. I went into Ny’alotha for 45 minutes on Tuesday and had one kernel panic and four client crashes. So, yeah, we aren’t playing Warcraft today. And maybe not tomorrow. Or the next day. Who knows!

Okay, let me stop feeling sorry for myself and we’ll get into answering some questions.
