I’m not sure what it is about The Long Dark that keeps me coming back. I know I should be collecting more vessels to do more Visions, but I just keep tromping through the snow, getting eaten by wolves. Oddly, I think no small part of it is this art style. There are both sweeping vistas and small groupings of objects in still life that could be paintings in their own right. Unfortunately, the reason this particular shot is blurry around the edges giving a kinda of tilted depth of field effect is because I’m literally freezing to death, but isn’t it pretty?

I've been thinking a lot about what N'Zoth fate in patch 8.3 means for World of Warcraft going forward.

Ever since Legion my Druid has been using the Class Hall Travel Form — the big giant owl. I’m not a fan of the big giant owl. I don’t like the way the neck bends almost 90 degrees up, and I’m not a fan of how large the owl is. Pretty much the only thing I really liked about it was being able to carry someone on my back. You never know when an instant-cast passenger mount is going to save the day after all.

Who knew that they added a Glyph that would change that for me? The Glyph of the Humble Flyer gives you back your basic travel form, but still lets you carry people around on your back! I have no idea when they added the glyph, but I’m very glad they did. I haven’t even looked at a list of Inscription glyphs in so long I could be missing out on other great glyphs that they snuck in. But before I go make some scribe on my server richer than astronauts — let’s Queue!

When you think gold in World of Warcraft, maybe you think in terms of tokens, or in terms of game time, or even in terms of the most expensive current mount in the game, the five-million-gold Brutosaur.

For me there are quite a few race/class combos that World of Warcraft has never embraced that I've always wanted.
