Shadowlands

One of the major new systems from World of Warcraft Shadowlands, Conduits, will no longer have a weekly cooldown for adjustments, letting you shift Conduits to suit your playstyle without a long wait.

Starting with the leadup to Warlords of Draenor, Blizzard has released expansion tie-in comics online to help fill in the gaps of story or lore for the forthcoming title (and in one famous example, showing us the future).

World of Warcraft: Shadowlands introduces us, as players, to an entirely new method of zone layout that's more reminiscent of our time on Argus during Legion than anything we've encountered previously.

Okay, so in a move that sure surprised me, Blizzard has decided to push back the release date on Shadowlands, and has announced the release date for the pre-patch to be October 13.

The good news is, we now know the date of the 9.0.1 pre-patch leading up to World of Warcraft's Shadowlands expansion -- October 13.

Blizzard has announced that the World of Warcraft: Shadowlands expansion will be delayed to later this year, while the pre-patch will arrive October 13th.

The launch of Shadowlands grows ever closer, and with it comes all kinds of improvements, like a level squish, new zones, and class changes.

So my Mountain Dwarf Barbarian got an Adamantine Breastplate a few weeks back. I’m wearing it because it renders me immune to critical hits, which, combined with my Bear Totem Barbarian rage ability to resist all damage but Psychic  means that I am really hard to hurt. But it does mean that the really awesome art I commissioned of her isn’t character accurate anymore, and considering real life issues I can’t really afford to commission new art right now. Luckily, Hero Forge just added their paint section and so I spent like six hours making a breastplate wearing version and non-breastplate wearing version of her because that was a better use of my time than panicking about current events.

Now, I’d still rather get a professionally painted mini, because I’m terrible and I did a terrible job, but it was still fun. I really love my crazy little Dwarf maniac. She killed a boat once.
