The Queue

While looking at the Surpringisly Palatable Feast in raid after our most recent Lady Darkvein wipes — 4% we’re so close, just need that perfect pull — I noticed what can only be the Banana Beef Pudding on the end. I wouldn’t say it’s the most appetizing-looking thing on the feast, but it does stand out.

While I try to figure out if I want to take a bite, it’s time for — The Queue!

Still playing WoW and Cyberpunk 2077, waiting for AC Valhalla‘s DLC, and kind of still wishing Odyssey would get a series. I’d love to rollick around as Kassandra in Ancient Greece, and maybe even other eras — she canonically lived 2400 years.

This is the Queue. I asked for questions, you provided, and here are some answers.

Oh, and Sibylle — I did have thoughts about your comments on Mythic+, and I wrote a reply, but it kept destroying the Queue so I ended up having to simply reply to you in yesterday’s comments. I’m deeply sorry about that — I don’t know why, but the formatting just wouldn’t let me answer you.

Rutherford was just a little bit jealous at first, but now he and Daisy are practically best buddies. I’d be really excited about this, but apparently they’re having another of their zany screaming contests! So glad they’re bonding over being loud!

So. Glad.

This is The Queue, where you ask us questions and if we get a quiet moment to ourselves we’ll answer them.

Man, that would be a really great idea for a movie huh? They could have a knock-down brawl in the middle of cities while terrified civilians scream their names and run away. Knowing Hollywood though they’d probably mess it up by including too much time spent with ordinary humans when all the audience really wants to see is the giant monsters.

While I double-check to see if anyone has done this before, it’s time for — The Queue.

It’s — The Queue.

It has been one crazy week after another here, but A Thing™ I’ve been helping work on for a while finally made its way out into the world last night, and it’s been cool watching people react to and devour said thing. (Sadly, I still have to keep details brief for now.)

Anyhow, I’ve also been playing FFXIV a bit again, and, hoo boy, is that game a trip. I appreciate Square’s willingness to let it just be weird sometimes.

But enough about that. Let’s Queue.

So just yesterday a murderer was convicted thanks to a herculean effort by a lot of people to overcome systemic racism, Jeff Kaplan left Blizzard, Jim Steinman died, and a whole lot more besides. It was a big day. On a personal front, I went to the doctor and found out I’m doing better health wise than I thought, which was nice, although I’m still a weird mutant who produces way too much iron. Sadly, it’s enough iron to make me sick, but not enough to grow steel hard skin or anything like that.

Anyway, let’s chat about Blizzard and games and stuff.

Welcome to Monday, everyone! I still haven’t killed Mythic Lady Darkvein, our best pull is 17% but that fight gets chaotic by the end.  Finding out how to get the Slime Serpent was pretty fun though.
