The Queue: Lunch break

I’m not sure if these little dudes are after the fish left out on that table, or the lemon on top of the fish. What I am sure of is that they should both be made Battle Pets immediately. I mean…look at them, they’re adorable!
The Queue: Thanks to you guys
Just my occasional reminder that if not for you guys I’d likely be dead. At the very least I’d be completely blind and unable to write this Queue, or indeed, anything. So thank you.
It’s the Queue. Let’s talk about games.
The Queue: Irish Coffee
I’m having some Irish Coffee today. It’s great. I’d suggest you try some too.
The Queue: Dead (almost skeletal) weight
I have questions about some of yesterday’s Queue comments. Questions that are never going to be answered because I am not going to google them. But I think I’m going to blame Mitch and his Nintendo talk. I have a feeling that’s a significant portion of the problem.
And now that we’ve gotten the difficult business of who to blame out of the way, let’s get on to an all-new day of madness.
The Queue: Modern beats Retro… but at what cost?
This month’s Splatfest was a bit of a different one. Not only did it use a revamped system to determine the winner (Clout instead of matches won), it also resulted in the first win for Marina in a long time. Unfortunately, it also happened to be the Splatfest where I’ve been the most genuinely angry at the game.
When 11:00 p.m. rolled around, I had an hour left to get in just a couple wins. I figured I’d be done in 20-30 minutes tops. So, naturally, I wound up going on a 7-game losing streak where the matchmaking consistently placed me against teams that were rated higher. I don’t know why, but it frustrated me to no end. I finally hit Queen (the max Splatfest rank) at 11:57 p.m.. I was not a happy camper.
Anyhow, that’s literally all for any Nintendo-related anything that we’ll be discussing today. Let’s Queue.
The Queue: Check please

The Cupola Cafe offers a variety of drinks and delicious snacks, each artfully handcrafted with only the finest of goods. I thoroughly recommend the Major’s Frothy Coffee, a rich blend of local beans with just the right amount of bitterness to offset the foam.
The waitstaff on the other hand, hover to the point of being completely intolerable — which is why I sadly have to drop their rating from four to two and a half stars. If you’re visiting the establishment, I suggest picking up your coffee to go.
Wait, this isn’t a review column, this is the Queue. You have questions. Let’s answer those, why don’t we?
The Queue: I unabashedly love Warfronts
Been running them nonstop on one of my three 120 characters and I love Warfronts. I love that they’re like PVP but allow you to do things like tank the enemy so they’re really rewarding for my Blood spec DK, or I can go in Arms and just go to town on people and if I die, it’s not a really big deal. I just think they’re extremely fun.
This is the Queue. Let’s chat.
The Queue: The Cube has reached its destination
It feels like just yesterday our little Cube overlord was making its first awkward roll through the land. But yesterday, the mighty Cube (a.k.a. “Kevin”) made it to what I can only assume is its final destination.
Upon taking a dive into Loot Lake, Kevin transformed the entire thing into a purple, glowy trampoline. It was really quite impressive, and — I can’t say this enough — a really fun way to tell a story via nothing but map changes. Give it a watch if you have a spare minute or two. Kudos, Fortnite! I await whatever is in store for Loot Thanos Lake next!
Now, let’s Queue.
The Queue: What even is a Queue?
I don’t know what’s happening here, but I’m going to roll with it anyway. So let’s roll together, shall we? We shall.
The Queue: Knock once if you’re proud of me
This Queue’s a bit on the long side, so let’s dive right in.
